What is The Simple Contrarian?

Man was not created and did not evolve to live in concrete boxes, with a synthetic diet, believing whatever fairy tale faith his society has created for him. Homosapiens are designed to work the earth, feed from the earth, to live socially and to strive to be spiritual beings (not by means of religous dogma, but by being virtuous and compassionate).

The Simple Contrarian is dedicated to presenting out of the box ideas related to life, health and spirituality. All posts are original articles or of other noteworthy sources, and often go against the grain of society on topics ranging from religion, to history, to nutrition or even current events. We do not promote any one philosophy, religion or denomonation, and do not discriminate based on one's intellectual understanding (literal, metaphorical or mythological) of faith. We do believe however that for each religious follower, true religion is the one whose purpose is to bring that follower to compassion. And it is not the belief, but this compassion that unites us in purpose.
